Here we are, in mid-May, with temperatures rising and [some posters announcing they are off to get some ice cream](https://tw.forumosa.com/t/posters-youd-like-to-have-a-nice-meal-with/257564/35).

So I did a walkaround in my corner of the capital, hitting my local Family Mart, 7-11, and the hollow Uni-Presidentized shell of what used to be a Carrefour.

Across my travels, I found no Baltic state deliciousness: no otherworldly [Ekselence](https://tw.forumosa.com/t/the-excellent-thread-about-ekselence-ice-cream/221339) to be found, no Pols from the Baltics or from Japan. The Carrefour house brand (I was fond of the chocolate—don’t judge me) is [finished](https://tw.forumosa.com/t/phasing-out-of-carrefour-brand-products/257271). Not a single item I saw interested me, just piles of unappealing flavours and bullsh&t brands which I will not name to avoid legal liability.

Can anyone help a brother out? I’m dying here. 😂

Guy
