Re diving the Japanese wrecks in Coron Bay Philippines

Regarding the wrecks in Coron Bay. There are about 14 wrecks in this area, unfortunately only 3 or 4 of them sit in water with decent visibility the rest have very limited vis for most of the year i.e. about 5m. You need excellent buoyancy control on these wrecks as there is a lot of silt. Stir it up with your fins and vis goes to zero in a few seconds. You need at least 2 or 3 days diving to sample the wrecks. Most of them are Advanced dives meaning deep and with a current present. I would recommend diving with Discovery Divers, the guy who runs the place Gunter Bernert is a very experienced dive instructor with over 4000 dives under his belt, most of them on these wrecks. He has an experienced crew of Instructors and DMs working for him and his accommodations and catering is pretty good. Check out his website at www.ddivers.com Gunter can also arrange a really cool dive safari for you which covers the wrecks and goes up to Apo Island reef [awesome diving] and back.
