I have a couple of really, really nice authentic, hand-made Burmese gurkha knives (well, one’s a knife and one’s a big mother f’in sword). Would I be able to bring these bad boys into Taiwan? I’m guessing not, but I at least thought I’d check.

If you can buy swords and such here you should be able to bring them in. Just like the imitation firearms you can buy here but can’t import.
On the other hand, has anyone ever been actually stopped by the customs guys?
