Jesus Christ. The parents, teachers, nay, the entire community, all need to be taken out and beaten in full public view. Fuck.
Hao kuaiiiiii!!! >o<
'Es just big-boned!
His parents must really love him!
He’s really ‘healthy!’
He must be really strong!
His family must be rich!
Its lucky!
yes…I have heard all of the above reasons/excuses/comments made by locals about morbidly obese children here the island.
he’s a real handful
It is beyond me how parents can mistreat their children like that.
Someone restricts his diet and take him on walks asap.
That poor dear doesn’t even look like he can open his eyes!!!
That is child abuse. Plain and simple.
Our nanny’s grandson isn’t quite that bad, but he’s in the same league: 4th grade and weighs 65 kg. Too much food and no exercise (although he enjoys watching baseball on TV, if that counts). I’m not sure what his parents think. Perhaps they feel it’s OK for him to eat like a pig, to help make up for him having to study so hard, coming home from school at 8 or 9 every night. In any event, I’ve eaten many meals with him and he always out eats me, so it’s no mystery why he’s so big.
His dad doesn’t need a gym membership. In a couple of years, he’ll be beating world powerlifting records if he keeps lifting Xiao Pang.zi.
looks like a thyroid problem. that is way to much for simple overindulgence on the parents part.
get that kid to a specialist.

I agree. It sounds like Prader-Willi syndrome. Poor kid.
I was a 20 sth at 60 kgs and they called me fat!!! This li’l fellow must have heavy organs or sth. coz he just can’t weigh that much. …shouldn’t the boy be having health red flags at this age??
This is appalling child abuse. However, it could be partly genetic, coupled with just giving him whatever he wants, constantly.
Last year Tracey heard about researchers investigating links between obesity and genetics at Cambridge University’s Institute of Metabolic Science.
Blood tests showed Sophie was suffering from the rare melanocortin 4 receptor (MC4R) gene deficiency.
This means everything Sophie eats is stored as fat, making it impossible for her to shed any weight no matter how much she exercises or restricts her diet.
UNTIL recently nobody - not even the prestigious Metabolic Science Institute in Cambridge - knew that MC4R plays a vital role in controlling weight.
In most cases, obesity in children is due to unhealthy eating and lack of exercise.
But a fault in the melanocortin-4 receptor gene (MC4R) can make sufferers pile on weight despite all their efforts not to over-eat.
In this condition, obesity usually starts in childhood and leads to early death from heart problems or diabetes.
The condition does not just mean kids carry excess fat.
They also have more muscle and denser bones, so they are sometimes described as looking “big-boned”.
While the symptoms are obvious enough, the exact diagnosis depends on genetic testing.
MC4R deficiency often runs in families, and boys can get it too, but Shane does not seem to have this problem.
That is because they are not identical twins so they do not have the same genes.

Poor Chinese boy above, and poor girl. It must be horrible to be in such condition.
Damn! My bet is he’ll be a goner before his fiftieth birthday from a stroke or heart attack.
As to the heavy argument etc. I weighed 80kg and looked around 65kg to 70kg (at 20 to 25). A visit to the doctor and some tests showed I have pretty dense bones, so that could explain some people’s weight not seeming in line with their looks. But this kid is in a league of his own. There may be some underlying medical condition, but he’s also getting way more food than he’s using on a daily basis.
