Most of the threads on Yilan seem a little dated so has anyone recently stayed in a nice spot in Yilan? I have two kids so kid friendly environment would be a plus. Seems to be hundreds of places to stay in Yilan.
I recently stayed at a decent B&B called River Villa. Nice garden setting with bungalows to stay in. You would need your own transport to get to it though. I’ll post their website link when I get home and find the business card.

I’ve recently stayed at this one place called 遇而歡 (Realfun) ilantravel.com.tw/realfun/
It’s about a 15 minute drive away from Dong-Shan city (冬山). It’s surrounded by rice paddies with a view of rolling hills. The rooms are are pretty kid friendly I think. I am not that familiar with Yi-lan, but of the 3 B&Bs I’ve stayed at over there, I would certainly consider this one kid friendly.
