Looking to rent some suits for a wedding part. I have looked a suit hire stores on Zhongshan North Road an I’m being quoted NT$8,000 - 10,000 for each for one day hire. Personally I think this is way to expensive and I am wondering does anyone know where I can rent decent wedding suits for about NT$3,000 - 4,000 price range.
If not I’m hopeful that I can get suits made for the quoted price above!!!
NT$8 to NT$10? You can get a suit made for that or close to it. Not going to be a great suit but since it sounds like you don’t normally wear one and only need it for the wedding, it’ll do just fine.
Also check the off-the-rack ones in the big department stores if you’re a “normal” kind of size. They sometimes have sales.
I’ve never seen anybody wear a suite at a Taiwanese wedding, unless a foreigner is involved…
