Due to the pandemic, I can only make inquiries through calls but with my basic/intermediate mandarin, sometimes it gets lost in translation. I was told by TECO that the only way I’m eligible for national ID is if I invest 10M in Taiwan. Has anyone tried this route and what are the options for investments? Hi good day! Can someone help me about my situation. I currently hold a Taiwan passport(but no Taiwan ID or household registration). I obtain my ROC passport through the local TECO in the philippines since my mom holds an ROC passport too(no Taiwan ID or household registration). Due to plenty of information and forums that I have read, I’m kind of lost. Can someone guide me on the process in order to obtain a Taiwan citizenship? And what to do and what not? Much appreciated on tour response(s).

@tando Same for my case too, my father was naturalized after 9 or 10 years I was born but they (Taiwan Immigration) gave me list of requirements I should submit in order to acquire citizenship, I think I’ll ask TECO just to be sure. Thank you for the information @tando
