I’ve seen people discuss the basics of the reciprocity agreement at length, but I am not sure how one finds out if his country (or state, in the U.S.) is part of the agreement.
Apparently my google powers are not up to par, because I can’t find any relevant results using my search terms. Can someone point me in the right direction?
Further, I don’t know what U.S. state I am a resident of. I’m guessing Washington, but there is also a strong argument that I’m an Arizonan. How does Taiwan go about deciding where you reside? Drivers license? Voter registration? Place of Passport issue? State of birth?

I am currently applying as a Washington State Resident. Probably should have put the mortgage/home in my wife’s name from the start, but we didn’t think it through enough before we started. Just from a tax exposure perspective it would have made better sense.
In any case, we’ve been waiting over a month for a response from bank.
