Has anyone had a vasectomy done in Taipei? I’d like advice on what hospital (or clinic) and doctor to go to. An English-speaking doctor is preferable. Also, an estimated cost for the operation without health insurance would be apprciated.
Thanks.

I had one done last week and am very satisfied. Dr Chuang at san zong, neihu. It’s not covered under health insurance anyway because you’re not ill, and it cost 4000. If you’re still following this and want the lowdown then post a brief reply.
Any recommendation for hospital and doctor in Taichung?
Hi, I’m am going to have this procedure done as well. I live in the NEi-Hu area. Is San Zong the name of the hospital?
Is it possible to write in chinese the address or give a web link if possible?
many thanks.

But does it hurt? Do they ask you lots of stupid questions beforehand like “are you sure you want one?” (No, I was just walking past and I thought “what the hell…”)
How long does it take? How long off work? Do you have this guy’s full name?
I’d do lots of research first then decide on this procedure.
I resisted pressure to do this for 10 years and remain glad I did not submit.
I am thinking about getting it - would save a fortune in child support going forward - are there any doctors doing it in Taoyuan-Zhongli?
I really, really think you should Meester He, and i reckon once you’ve allowed Stray Dog to catch, snip and release you, you’ll be even more grateful than your signature already implies.
In and out in a day. No pun intended. Couple of stitches. No problem. no need for time of work aside from the day op.

Dear huang,
I hope I am not revealing too much, however did you ever assist when the butchers back in Oz performed them?
Cheers,
Mr. He.
Yes I did, and you may draw some large measure of comfort in the fact that I condone vasectomy and oppose circumcision. It really is merely a couple of snips in the former, whereas the other . … well let’s just say such flagrant barbarity doesn’t require much consideration.
Note carefully the terminology. Vas refers to your vas deferens, or the tubes that carry the spunk from your sack, and ectomy means to cut out. They take a small - 1cm tops - piece of this tubing from both sides and that’s it, all done.
Mind you, I saw a poster above claim they’d done more research and that they were glad they hadn’t opted for it. I’d love to know what that research revealed.

So would I, to be honest. I have heard that the nutsack might end up with pain and other nasties as well, but I would love to get some figures on the table.
I have 3 kids who I love, and a missus who is not a great supporter of birth control, so I am concerned that I will end up with a baker’s dozen before her menopause.
3 little rugrats is my contribution to global overpopulation, and it must be at that.
Try keeping it in your trousers.

Well, yes that might work, however it takes a fair bit off life if you do so.
Huang - done and dusted.
Injection pain, the rest just tugging.
Nearly pain free 8 hrs later.
:bravo: :bravo: You may feel a slight pull after a few weeks even…but that’s that!!! Oh and the sex life get BETTER if you know, no more babies are making it…ofcourse all the precautions to be taken till you get the ‘no sperm’ bill.
I feel like a soft kick in the nuts. it goes away if I sit for a while, however comes back when moving around.
No blue balls, thank God for that, however speaking of balls, they are of a rather impressive size.
I can help you with that.
Don’t worry, that’s temporary. They’ll soon be back to peanut kernel size, just like before.

Sir, if you every feel like a vasectomy, by all means see me before forking NT$7k out to any doctors.
It sounds like all these posts are referring to the standard invasive operation. I’m wondering if it’s possible to get the non-invasive type in Taiwan, and where?
