Hi,
I’m not bashful about saying when something isn’t right, so I am only too happy to be evenhanded when the opportunity arises to praise someone.
If you’re looking for a good bicycle shop in the Taipei area, you can go to Sean’s Bikes in Shilin (02-2835-2101). I bought my bike from him. Sean ordered what I wanted, treated me well, and did what he promised. Over the course of six months since then, I have been back several times for some bike work and accessories, and the treatment was the same. For his customers, quite a lot of follow-up service is done while you wait and cost free. Sean speaks and understands English well and he understands the customer service ethic. His shop is within easy walking distance from the Zhishan MRT Station. Info on his shop (and others) can be found at www.formosanfattire.com/bikeshops/#north.
Although the perverted Recommendation Gods will ensure now that when I return, he’ll yell at me and throw me out of this shop for no reason
, I’m willing to risk it. He’s a good guy, does good work, and deserves your business.
