Recommended places to stay and eat in Vancouver
Thanks everyone for their responses. I always ruv it when people’s patrioti, patriat, patri…love of their home town comes through.

I am taking my boarding gear fer sure. Now. Best way to get from Van to Whistler? Rent a car or are there rots of buses n shit?
Nah…don’t rent a car…

You can catch a bus from the train/bus station or on Georgia and Burrard or Georgia and Denman for less than 20 bucks. Or you can do it the way I always traveled teh Sea to Sky…take a city bus up to Horseshoe Bay and hitchhike. Cost you about 2.50.

If you are on a budget in Whistler, stay at The ShoeString Lodge and be sure to catch the world famous Boot Ballet on Wednesday afternoon. Do say hi to any cabbie you might meet from me. I drove cabs up there for 9+years.

Yale Town seems to be the new trendy area of Downtown Vancouver - many good places to stay and dine around the area…
