Looking for a router to connect to fibre optic terminal.

Currently using LAN cable. Network speeds 300MB/40MB.

Need to connect 7 devices.

Budget?
Do you have any Wifi 6-enabled devices?
1-floor apartment?
Does your modem support bridge mode? brand/model?

btw what kind of fiber optic connection would give you such a low upload bandwidth? are you sure it is pure fiber or coaxial or VDSL?

All wireless?

How big is your place?

How is the spectrum looking in your area? Lots of neighbors with wireless lan?

It is a 1 floor apartment, about 45 ping. Lots of neighbouring wireless networks.
No wifi 6 devices.
Not sure about the modem bridge support, its Nokia something; will check model number when back home.
Well, the wall outlet is a fibreoptic cable. Will test the speed tonight.

Well you haven’t said what your budget is but I would recommend this one which I have been using in the office for about a year and has been very stable, speedy and has plenty of Gb LAN ports for additional wired devices as well:
