Can you confirm how long it will take to get your new ID? I’m only in town for two weeks and need to renew my APRC due to new passport. Been a while since I renewed so I’m hoping two weeks is long enough.

New Taipei office took 2 weeks for ARC/APRC application/renewal. (They will put two Friday ahead as the pick-up date, no matter what day you apply).
You could always asks them to mail it. I tried once, about the same time frame.
Taipei is about a week many years ago.

The date stamped on my receipt says May 14 so it is a bit tight in your case. Maybe you can ask for them to help you out?
Mine is being sent by mail so that adds a couple of days time.
Do not forget your pics and if you can take the copy of new passport that helps too.

Thanks all. I’ll be back in mid June. Maybe I won’t need my APRC card to travel since I’ll be within the visa waiver window for stays in Taiwan. I’ve always just offered it to ticket agents and used e-gate for a couple of years.
Talked to NIA today. They said if I provide my travel itinerary when I renew they will expedite my APRC turnaround time to three or four days.
