Does anybody know a reliable place where I can rent a pickup truck or full-sized van? Any price estimates on how much 12 hours with one, gas excluded, would cost me? I’ve just been evicted, and I trust no Taiwanese moving companies. Plus, I need an excuse to get a bunch of friends together to help me and then take them all to dinner.
I have an ARC, an international driver’s license, a credit card, and plenty of cash to pay a deposit. I’d be willing to rent anywhere within Taipei city or county, as long as the place is easy to get to, and back from, without a car.
