A friend of mine told me that it’s possible to claim for the rent you’ve paid in Taiwan. He also said that if the landlord doesn’t pay the tax he’s supposed to pay, it might cause problems because many don’t pay tax. Any more info?
You need a copy of the contract you signed with the landlord and receipts for the monthly rent you paid. You get a rebate, the landlord pays tax on it. That’s why some landlords are reluctant to sign a contract?
