Hi everyone, can someone tell me if rentals in Taiwan have to begin on the 1st of the month and end on the last day of the month? or can I rent a place say Aug 15th to dec 15th? I’m not too sure what the process is between renters and landlords/agents, especially in Taipei. Thanks!
They can start/end on any day. I’m not sure how easy it is to find a shorter-term (less than a year) rental, at least not without a decent markup. Maybe you can post your experience with that?
