I was wondering if it is possible to rent a scooter in Kenting without a license. I did a search and I know this has been discussed before but that information is a few years old so I was wondering if anyone has any recent experience or can recommend a place. Thanks
It’s possible, though you’ll probably need some form of ID like an ARC. Kending is the only place I’ve been able to rent a scooter without a license.
An International Drivers License should suffice.
Alidarbac, you can also rent in Hualien, Chiayi, Tainan, Little Liu Chiu Island, Green Island, Sun Moon Lake and Jiaoshi (Ilan) with just an International Drivers License.
And you can rent in Kinmen with just an ARC.
I didn’t need any kind of license, ID or any documentation whatsoever when I went to Green Island last month.
