Hi,

I’ve managed to snap my NI card in two. Where in Taipei can I get it replaced?

They take a new photo on the spot. Shave, comb, wear a nice shirt.

I actually got mine replaced last week. In and out in less than 20 mins.

What’s amusing is that on the first floor of the office it’s the area to make claims for reimbursement if you’ve been hurt out of country or if you want to argue the NHI payout… I’ve never seen so many injured people in casts in my entire life. Literally a floor full of the infirmed.

I went to the office located at the intersection of Zhongshan and Civil Boulevard, very close to Taipei Main Station. It is always empty, very recommended.
