if I want to replace the main breaker in my house, do I just call Taipower and ask them to turn the power off until I tell them to turn it back on?
How does it work?
Is it a gongyu? On the first floor, or wherever the power comes in or where the meters are, there may be a breaker for your entire apartment. If you just want to replace the main breaker that is inside your individual apartment, that might work. Otherwise, if you’re talking about putting new lines in at a higher amperage or changing the breaker where the power comes into the building, you’ll have to call an electrician and/or apply with Taipower afaik.
