We’ve been over this before. You can be sued for copyright infringement over a substantially similar work. Same idea here: substantive reposts are reposts, whether or not the font is the same and so on…
@RickRoll how about “Repost of the Day (including substantive reposts)”? The title “Re (and similar) post of the Day” is a little odd. 
ETA: I think we can drop the “for real this time” part now. The original RotD is locked and long forgotten.
