I need to know if anyone has successfully renewed a work permit representing a representative office.
I have a few questions, including:
Are quotations enough to maintain the office? How about a couple to a few contracts?
Also, in what format should the contracts be in? Is there a particular format or form that I need to use? Should the contract be translated to Chinese for the purposes of the Workforce Development?
I have a similar question re: proof of business performance when renewing my work permit as a rep of my rep office. I currently have two signed contracts and a few quotations (some related to the signed contracts and some aren’t). Is this enough as proof of business performance? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
When renewing my rep office ARC I provided something very similar (a couple of service agreements and some emails) and had no problems. My recommendation is just stamp everything with the company chop so it looks official. I’ve heard they may have gotten more strict in the last few years, but worst case they will just ask for more documents.
