I went to guanghua today (electronic supermall) to look for camera equipment, potentially a big lens purchase…but all those retailers look crazy shady. they say their lenses come with canon’s warranty but how can i be sure of it? are they legit? know any places that ARE legit? even as i walk down “camera street” near taipei main, i dont feel good about making a $1000USD purchase from them.
The dealers on camera st are all legit. When you buy something, you’ll get a Canon warranty card. As long as you have that, you’re good.
isnt there an actually canon outlet in guanghua? it might be on the canon website where to buy from

All Canon’s camera sales in Taiwan are through their distributors, there’s no actual Canon outlet.
