Sell your body to rich old women?
aw… i am too skinny… and too hungry and weak to make sex…
Great post! How about getting a job as an English teacher in a remote town? Competition is not as fierce.
so how come you got enough money to go online and post that shit?
go work as some Italian teacher for 200NT an hr and work your way up.
I’m sure there must be plenty of people here, especially young women, who are learning Italian or would like to do so if they could find a reasonably affordable teacher. Lots of xiaojies head over to Italy for their holidays, and quite a few of them get turned on by Italian guys. So, just put up a few ads for very inexpensive Italian conversation lessons on appropriate sites around the Internet, and maybe visit some university campuses to put up notices and hand out fliers advertising the same, and I’m sure you’ll be able to pick up sufficient work to feed yourself up and also save enough for the plane ticket back to Italy. If you’re lucky, this may even lead to your meeting a well-heeled young lady who becomes so smitten with you that she’ll want to accompany you back to your homeland and will gladly pick up the tab for all your expenses.
Try putting up some ads at university music departments. Lots of voice students need to learn Italian pronunciation if not the language itself.
As long as you have money to drink, that’s the important thing. ![]()
Can you you sing? Try busking (although, technically, it is illegal).
And don’t forget that Wheel-Well Class is always free.
Can you cook? Italian food is highly popular everywhere. Even if you don’t cook, just pretend that you can and learn fast on the job. I think a lot of local Italian restaurants would be delighted to have an authentic native Italian working on their staff. Of course, the wages will probably be crap, but beggars can’t be choosers.
I mean, if you were back home and some random Chinese guy came up to your Chinese restaurant and asked if you had any openings, and I didn’t have any real Chinese on my staff, I’d give him a chance for sure. I’d figure he must have learned at least a little something about cooking real Chinese food from his mama.
Do you want a waiter job? Drop me a messege if you want.
One of my friend love to hire foreigners because he thinks they will add “international” feel to his resturant.
And you don’t need to speak good English or Chinese.
And they provide food.
ok, thanx everybody for the replies… Cybertai, here is my email: ftattini@yahoo.it, let me know more about that job as waiter…
I asked some restaurants or pub if they can hire me, but they say i need a working visa… if i had a working visa many of my troubles would be solved…
To Almas John: what’s busking??
To cranky laowai: u mean the music dept. at Taiwan Normal University in Shi Da?
To cornelldesi: well, my friend has a pc…
anyway, probably i’ll move to some small towns… it’d be easy to get a job as english teacher, altough my english is messy
Thx everybody

Maybe he can hawk his pc and loan you some money. Or better yet, maybe he has enough in his pocket to help you out straight away. That’s what friends are for, right? Sorry for assuming that your friend is a he.
Actually, that might not be such a good idea. The police in small towns tend to know everyone living there and what they’re up to, especially conspicuous foreigners. If you try to work there illegally, you’re much more likely to be caught and locked up in the aliens’ detention center pending your being able to pay for your flight home. I would have thought the relative anonymity of a big city would be a safer option for you.
Good luck to you, anyway, whatever you try to do.
Not too sure omni, we have quite a few foreigners here without the correct papers, as mentioned elsewhere, one of me buddies have overstayed 6 years. He teaches! The police picked him up last year and released him again - too much work I guess.
But let’s see. NT$200 per hour as an Italian teacher - 20 hours per week (ok, that’s a bit optimistic) NT$4000, or NT$16,000 per month. Now, a ticket to Europe one way will run him around NT$15,000. Rent NT$6000 (If you look good, you might find something for free), eat NT$4000 (That’s an NT$50 biandang and a bit of cheap toast), and he will reach his goal in 3 months.
NT$40,000 in a small town, where the buxiban owner knows the police boss would make him want to stay for a long time - and he could afford a ticket every month, and get pissed once a week as well.
I think this guys post is a good example for why they should reinstitute the round-trip ticket rule for people without resident visas. Did you come here on a one way ticket? Let’s hope he doesn’t resort to crime.
That’s a bit harsh, we can all fall on hard times.
