Just wondering if it’s possible to restore a scooter more than 10 years old. It’s a Jockey 125, no tricks, no apparent modifications. I’ve had the bike for a year and really like it…super dependable, etc.
What I’d like to know is: Can I get the original stickers and how much does an average basic black paint job cost. I’ll probably add some chrome, sport mirrors and change the exhaust. It also needs a ferring, but that’s about it. Oh I’ll need a instrument face-plate too. Are these things hard to find? :help:
It WAS in almost mint condition when I bought it, but of course some f#ck-nuts food delivery guy scratched the side and another idiot moved it so he could get his bike out and he scratched the nose up. So I’m willing to put out a few grand to get it back in shape and I’ll just kill anybody who scratches it.
I’ve seen some other Jockeys of the same year in pretty damn good shape and they must have been restored. So any advice here would be helpful.
Cheers
