on a trip up bade road was happy to see the long time “wang ji” rice dumpling shop has got a shop with proper seating now. only five things on menu, only two that matter are the “bazang” rice dumplings with meat and “tsaizang” with peanuts only. they come with a non-pink sauce that you can add peanut powder (non sugared) and wickedly hot mashed pepper oil from pots on your table to at will. the dumplings are perfect, not the inedible dry or aglutinated mass you too often get. between fushing and tunhua, up street from the adventist hospital, on corner across from fire station. well worth stop for quick cheap lunch.
