Ringtone that old people can't hear

Chances are that if you are a thirty something or older, then you cant hear this ringtone. It was originally intened to be used by shopkeepers to play at high pitch and scare away groups of youngsters from spraying graffiti, but in a twist of fate it has become most widly used by students that wish to keep their teachers from realizing the telephones and text messages that are going on in the classrooms.

Yeah, TVs and some other electronics make that sound too; when I use my ‘input’ button on the VCR’s remote to temporarily turn off the TV signal (e.g., to take a phone call), the TV is still on but looks off, and sometimes I forget to turn it off after that. Dragonbabe’s much younger ears can hear it, though, so she’s always telling me I left the TV on.

Yay, I’m still young(ish).

Yay, I’m still under 30!

Yah, I still drink like a 20-year-old.

Ha, that’s only 16khz or so. I can hear all the way to 20khz, and 30 (years old) is but a distant memory now.

Is that ever freaky. I can’t hear it - and I seem to have good hearing, at least compared to my friends. I blame the 10 years in Asian hellholes.

I’m only 25~~ and I can’t hear it…

oh wait~~ this PC doesn’t have speakers :wall:

44, and I can hear it, but only when I am 15-20cm from my notebook’s speakers - i a room with rather much background noise.

Good or not, I don’t know.

Actually, it’s Beethoven’s 9th along with some annoying background sound.
