When it comes to hip hop, this is a classic. Nobody comes close to 宋岳庭 in my opinion. It’s a shame he died young.

‘Dog G’ looks like a typical uncle. That was back in 2007, he must be an ah bei at this point. He cant even rap on the beat.

I think its because no Taiwanese music has any beat or energy to it. So music like hip hop just fails here.

I think I agree with him, though, about the lack of beat or energy. But if you bring things down to a slower tempo, there’s some good stuff out there, like the songs in the thread you linked to.

I was being sarcastic. I picked two of the most xenophobic hip hop tracks to share on an expat forum. Yeah, Dog G is hilariously bad. There was a long, angry thread here about him in 2007.

Lol i get it. Just taking a pot shot at the supposed rapper who looks like they just grabbed a betelnut chewing guy off the street. This is the standards for hip hop here.
