I want to do a hunter/gatherer project with my history classes, and it would be great if I could find some obsidian/chert/flint or similar rocks for the students to experiment with. Does anyone know if there are any geological outcroppings of those around here, or even perhaps a store where I could purchase some? thanks.

i’ve been there and they pretty much only have fossils and quartz crystals, and little bitty rocks that you can put in cute glass jars…
