Yes they are diffent. Heuningbos actually tastes like honey. Rooibos has a wild taste, but I like it too.
Rooibos tea available at Costco in Chung Ho. About NT 360 for two big packs. And yes, it’s from the Western Cape.
also available at Jason’s in 101. around 270NT a box I think but they have cherry, peach, and regular flavor.
Costco has it.
I heard that there are only a few (12-20) rooibos tea growers in SA … they have the whole world at their feet … some make like 1,000,000 bags a day … whole sale it goes for very cheap …
David at Webspar sells all kind of SA goodies, including Rooibos Tea. He has the regular rooibos tea as well as flavored (Cherry, etc.)

Saw the stuff at Costco Neihu yesterday. Just a heads up for you SA folk.
EDIT-- Still there. (July 2008)
Thanks Dragonbones!
Ice cold Rooibos tea, 25NT$/bottle at Family Mart …
Muji has it at the inflated Muji design price of 10 bags for 95NT. I bought some about 3 years back at Di Hua Jie for a good price. Never been able to find it since, but will look a little harder now that I know what its called.
It’s a great tea, tho, I wonder about the use of pesticides, etc, in its manufacture and storage.
I just got some annatto seed powder, allspice and powdered spinach in from a mail order company called Mountain rose herbs, and they sent along a catalog, which happens to list green, red and vanilla rooibos (all organic, fair trade). Check out www.mountainroseherbs.com if you’re interested. They’ve got quite a catalog of other stuff too, including all kinds of tea strainers and infusers, St. John’s wort, licorice root and powder, and so on.
This store has a 20% sale now (about 7-8 more days), and they have rooibos tea:
