I’m not totally sure of this. The moves made did draw Putin out in the open somewhat. Not necessary for you or me, but maybe for some. What happens next will be more important. They’ve already restarted arms and intelligence. There’s clearly things going on behind the scenes. Not 3D chess, but maybe liar’s poker.
There’s zero chance Putin is going to end his war against Ukraine now. Why would he? Now that the U.S. is cutting and running like it did in Afghanistan, Iraq, and Viet Nam the way is clear for him to take anything he wants.
