Zelensky fired Ermak for embezzling the country’s budget, which includes Western funding. It seems to me that he fears the investigation into Ermak might continue - he could also come under scrutiny.

Ukraine attacked a couple of Chinese owned tankers in the Black Sea (Gambia flagged) and mixed reports on whether it was Russian crewed or not.

The ships are owned by Shanghai and Hong Kong companies, flagged in Gambia, one shillings is/was crewed by filipinos, and the logged destination was a Russian oil and gas terminal in Novosibirsk (sp?).

So yeah - clear as mud.
