Zelensky fired Ermak for embezzling the country’s budget, which includes Western funding. It seems to me that he fears the investigation into Ermak might continue - he could also come under scrutiny.

Any mention of which passport the oil was travelling under? 
The ships are owned by Shanghai and Hong Kong companies, flagged in Gambia, one shillings is/was crewed by filipinos, and the logged destination was a Russian oil and gas terminal in Novosibirsk (sp?).
So yeah - clear as mud.

Ukraine’s domestic security service, the SBU, said Monday that it struck a Russian submarine in the Black Sea port of Novorossiysk, causing critical damage to the vessel and effectively disabling it.
In a statement, the SBU said the operation, which used underwater “Sub Sea Baby” drones, was the first attack of its kind. Video shared by the SBU showed a large explosion at a port.
“As a result of the explosion, the submarine suffered critical damage and was effectively put out of action,” the SBU said. CNN could not independently verify the claim.
Russia acknowledged the Ukrainian attack but said it failed and that no ships or submarines were damaged.
“The enemy’s attempt to carry out sabotage using an unmanned underwater vehicle failed to achieve its goals,” state media quoted Alexei Rulev, head of the Black Sea Fleet press service, as saying. Rulev denied Ukrainian reports that a submarine was destroyed at the Novorossiysk naval base, Russian media reported.

Taiwan should cancel all the remaining submarine orders which have a lot of pork involved and switch to drone subs. You could build a thousand drone subs for one manned submarine easily and you don’t need to maintain them or risk loss of life.

It’s time for Europe to lead Europe. They were warned but didn’t listen. The future is about North America and Asia.
Europe:
• Underinvested in defense for ~30 years
• Outsourced deterrence to the US
• Built energy dependence on Russia (Germany is the prime example)
• Ignored repeated warnings from:
• Eastern Europe
• The US (even Obama and Bush warned about defense spending)

According to Google in 2024 nato spent 1.5 trillion on defence while russia spent 149 billion.
I would like to know the true amount of western money that has gone into Ukraine. G says only 380 billiion as of 2024 in direct aid…
