What good is having nuclear weapons if NATO can hit targets deep inside Russian territory at will? Isnât defending Russian territory against attack the whole reason for having nuclear weapons? Thatâs the argument thatâs being made inside the Kremlin now and itâs getting increasingly difficult to refute.
Prevents regime change, or nuclear attacknin Russia. Frankly, if they didnât want to get shot at, they shouldnât have started a shooting war.
Canât see that happening.
Although there is an agreement not to do an Israel on Kyiv and flatten it, that could be an option.
If NATO missiles reign down deep into Russia, Russia could forget being nice (so they can quickly return to business with the west after the peace deal) and bomb Ukraine into the Stone Age to lend a US Neo-con phrase rather than concentrate on the regions they control.
But it will not happen. The Oligarchs will not allow it and Putler answers to them.
Of course the war maniacs like Nuland, Starmer, Harris, Graham - most politicians in the west, would love that as it means more money for the rebuild racket and the fight against the (current) Great Satan that is Russia.

Once long-range NATO missiles start raining down at will on airbases deep inside Russian territory Putin has only two choices to stop them: surrender or launch tactical nuclear missile strikes because Russia is too weak to retaliate in any other way. Either way Putin is toast.
