So I’m coasting along in the bike lane and this scooterette overtakes me on the inside and then cuts sharp in front of me doing a left turn across the (relatively light) traffic.
Nothing unusual in that, you say, but just before she does it, SHE GIVES A LEFT TURN HAND SIGNAL!!!.
I was so astonished I nearly forgot to brake.
She wasn’t going very fast so I followed her. I may have subconsciously imagined persuading her to have my children, and found a new race of half-safe Taiwanese riders with an addiction to coasting. My subconscious has a vivid imagination.
Turned out she was just trying to get a signal on her mobile.
