U can go farming in yilan and hualien.
Though according to my native yilan friend, real estate has gone up a lot in yilan since the completion of 雪隧. Many ppl from Taipei go there to either invest or retire.

Seriously though, you need a BA in anything + a current teaching license from your home country.
