In place of the Old Testament law, Christians are under the law of Christ (Galatians 6:2), which is to “love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind…and to love your neighbor as yourself” (Matthew 22:37-39). If we obey those two commands, we will be fulfilling all that Christ requires of us: “All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments” (Matthew 22:40).
Sabbath is for you to unwind and rest. Not sit there and read religious materials all day. God took 6 days to create everything, rested on the 7th day, and so we are to do the same.
21 Was not our father Abraham considered righteous for what he did when he offered his son Isaac on the altar? 22 You see that his faith and his actions were working together, and his faith was made complete by what he did."
Well I meant all humans rather than all things.
All demons and devils believe in Jesus, yes. And Satan was in heaven once (more than once). But I get your point. They believe in Jesus as knowing Jesus , but do not follow Jesus as “Believe in.”
That’s a very good point actually. Sunday from a Christian viewpoint is the Lord’s Day , yes. Going to church is a good idea for a Christian on Sunday or at least prayer and bible reading.
You’re safe from us Catholics. We don’t need any more people. Right now there’s enough room in the pews and parking isn’t a problem but it might be if more people join up.
Because Catholics believe that being unsaved doesn’t necessarily mean eternal damnation like evangelicals. It also takes at least a year to become catholic.
No. However yes the Jehovah’s witness’s get that from Revelation. I’ve nothing against them. However “Revelation” might need a whole new thread with hundreds of posts.
Wow. I’m not sure if that’s good or bad. A lot of protestant churches require membership. It’s usually pretty easy and can just lie your way in by saying you agree 100 percent with what they say. I’ll never do that though. Therefore I attend services but never actually join memberships.
