My wife is a fan of Sanrio plushes particularly Pom Pom Purin. I’d like to get her and the kids some plushies, where is the best place to go? Any particular shop, department store or mall to check out? In the past we had good luck with Ximending.

Thanks I forgot I registered here before, a lot has happened, marriage, kids, completely different career than what I imagined… hoping to spend a lot more time in Taiwan now :).

Basically large department stores. Ximen used to.have lots of plushies but less now and not official.

I’m now a YouTuber mostly around gaming/tech. Coming to Taiwan now that the country is open. Mostly here to visit family and later I’m bringing my wife and kids (11, 6) to experience the culture here. Only here for holidays, but once my eldest is 18 I would be tempted to move to Taiwan for the food, weather, culture, etc.

Yep. Sogo and Mitsukoshi. The latter also has Ghibli store, Line store, if interested.
