I doubt she had much to do with it. One of her aides would have conceived, written and posted the message. She would only have been asked to give it the nod, which wouldn’t have been too hard to do, even for someone of her limited understanding and capabilities.

“Economic migrant”?.. Have we met?.. Do you know what I do for a living?.. Thought not… “Shedding tears”?.. I’m not an American and Kennedy meant as little to me as Elvis did to Chuck-D… But that doesn’t really matter since a.) Say what you will about Ted Kennedy but that doesn’t change the fact that he was a bloated old satyr with a perpetual bad conscience and a determination to expatiate himself by making the rest of us do his penance for him.
