I’ve just spent the last three months on a hard core travel schedule to try ad reduce SARS related business losses and the number of countries, hotels and tourist attractions with SARS related checks still in effect are insane…you would freely pass through one exit only to get tagged at the next; Tawian? oh, you must get an anal exam at the next station (this was suggested to me as an alternative in Shanghai when I argued that an oral thermometer , unrinsed, in any season, does pose a problem to me) and in Vietnam a hotel swimming pool minion freaked because of my ba-guan bruises on my back, swearing that SARS cause them; weren’t they one of the first SARS infected countries given a SARS free statis by the WHO?
