Scar reduction treatment

Has anyone had any experience with scar reduction treatments? For both fresh and old scars. Especially if you have keloid skin type.

I had (very minor) surgery recently. Since I have this weird skin type I have to do something to prevent from growing a huge scar.

As far as I know, most effective treatments for treating keloids are silicone gel and cortisone injections.

Is this scar somewhere that people will notice ?
You could leave it as it is for a talking point. If people ask in Carnegies about it, you could say how brave you were and didn’t cry much.

I already have one for that. On my upper arm. it’s provided tons of entertainment for me. Fake war-related stories, etc. I love that scar. Would never have it removed.

No, this one’s on a pretty private place. Butt I still want it reduced. What’s the point of having it if it’s not somewhere visible, right? Unless you like touching your own scar, which I do, butt this one is a bit hard to reach in public places, without drawing attention and having people think you were raised by monkeys.

there’s an ointment called Contractubex… can probably get it over the counter and definately through a derm…
