hi, I found a thread about this but it’s a decade old. I was wondering how to get directions that are relevant for scooters, in particular places that are further out. Because when you try to look up directions for a vehicle, you’re given highway directions which scooters aren’t allowed on. Does anyone have some hacks for using Google maps for this? like opting for a bicycle… but often this has you using river side paths where scooters are not allowed either.
Doesn’t Google Maps have a scooter option?
I’m sure this was introduced a few years ago.
They do. I believe it is only available on the phone app though.
I haven’t tried it on the phone. I hate looking at directions on the phone. I prefer the PC. Look at it, memorize it, take a few notes and go. I hate those idiots who always look at their damn phones while driving or while out and about in general.
