got my scooter smog checked less than 6 months ago. the registration is legit. came out of work today to find a fine of some sort taped to my seat. i guess someon ripped off my smog check sticker and my registration sticker… how do i take care of this and prove that i had the stickers? i didn’t save my smog check sheet that i took to the mechanic…
must have info on their computers, right?

I usually see cops writing tickets only for illegally parked motorcycles taping the yellow notice on scooters that they don’t tow.
yeah, i’m positive. it wasnt yellow. it’s white and it clearly say that i am being ticketed for not having my registration or smog check sticker.
where do i got to resolve this?
Losing your registration sticker and/or your clean exhaust sticker is not a big deal. I just got the translation department (i.e. my ball n’ chain 
) to call the local (Jiayi) MVD and ask about this - they said it doesn’t matter, “Don’t need to worry about replacing them. Too much trouble. Just show a policeman your registration card if you get stopped”.
Perhaps you should get someone to call your local Motor Vehicle Department and ask.
