What are the rules for leaving your scooter in the free scooter lots at MRT stations? I notice a lot of scooters seem to be there for days at a time. I’d like to be able to leave mine overnight and over weekends so that I can ride to/from work from the nearest station (instead of having to switch to a bus, which takes forever some days), but I don’t want to risk fines or impounding.
I only have personal experience with the lot at Yongning but they are probably all the same rules.
Daily is 10NT and a small extra charge for overnight. Use your MRT pass to enter the lot and to exit.
I am afraid some Stations have unlimited free parking and some charge. My GF said there will be a sign telling you…easy then… you just have to learn how to read Chinese this week and hey presto ! 
You’ll know it’s free parking if it is not gated. Then you can leave it there as long as you want.
Thanks! The one by work has both, although I’ve only seen cars in the gated lot. Neat that I can just use an easycard to get in and park if I want to use the pay lot (weather).
