I’m sure I’ve seen something on this on Forumosa but perhaps I didn’t phrase my search well. Anyway, I’m an infrequent diver who’d like to start diving more regularly. I have my own gear and have gone out with local clubs but didn’t like the experience.
I to would like to know this one as well. I have only been scuba diving twice in the united states so far. I need to get my diving certificate to. The only thing is all my equipment is currently at my parrents house 
but I am up for this as well
My friend Justin (aka Fly) a South African is a PADI instructor. He can get you certified for 21500NT. This includes all equipment rental, costs of dives, a custom made wetsuit to keep, course book and other stuff. He freelances with the diving club Tropic.
You could also talk to him about diving with other foreginers, as he is organising more and more trips to places like Kending and Green Island. The more people involved, the cheaper it gets for everyone, so he’d be interested to hear from you. Next trip is to Kending next weekend.
