Which photo do you mean? One appears to be from Nanshan, an Atayal village on the 7A highway. It is after Mingchi. BTW, this is one of the wettest areas in Taiwan and is almost always foggy and raining.
The photo of the restaurant is where I put up for the night and the other photo with the Nanshan words is where I bought drinks before rolling off the next day. That’s what I was told. Nanshan. I just need to know the exact location to document my rides. I came to this place after some kind of light industrial area. I left this place in the morning to head towards Hehuanshan. The lady boss told me we are just over 1000m.
Found it - just after the 29km marker on #7, after several minutes on Google Maps.
Hello,
I read this thread with great interest and it gives me a lot of useful information.
I’m Swiss and right now here in Taipei for a 3-week cycling trip AND I’m looking for a new place to relocate. Since I have pretty a lot of time I would like to (dis)cover more scenic places and roads, nature, national park etc. and also potential places where I can live in the future.
I don’t want to interfere with the original post so I opened a new post, see my post under ‘Cycling’.
Any suggestions and advices are very appreciated, thanks in advance!
Simon
