or am I just behind the times and Gus let the payments for the URL lapse?
It doesn’t look like the domain name lapsed and got picked up by someone else, but it could soon. The expiration is July 17th. If you dig down to other URLs on the site, there’s an old install of phpBB there with the usual forumosa skin on it. Older versions of phpBB have known security bugs, so it is quite possible someone exploited one and hacked the system.
Looks like a real hack. BloodBR is a group of hackers from Brazil.

I hope that Forumosa.com is not vulnerable, too. These guys have wiped out everything from some servers (including databases).
Remember not to use the same username/password-combination for several sites.

I’ve got segue as one of my “favorites” and in the past couple of days every time I click on it I get that same hacked message. By typing in www.forumosa.com I don’t have a problem. I wonder what was their motive. Lately I’ve been getting pop-up garbage every time I start up – is it possible their hacking resulted in those pop-ups, which I then click on to remove, possibly generating income for them?
I haven’t seen any popups when I visit either the hacked site or Forumosa. I suspect you’ve gotten a virus on your machine.
