The missus has land in Dungho Village outskirts with view of Green Island on clear day.
Don’t want to get into why Dulan is “blahh”.
Dungho a nice town with nearly all the living amenities and right at juncture of 23 that would take you back into Rift Valley.
Rent a place in the village and explore up (to nearly outskirts of Hualien City) and down (to Taitung City) the Pacific Ocean.
Lost count the number of times been on that coast ride as well as all the main roads over the mountains into Rift Valley, both by bicycle and scooter.
