I wonder if anyone has tried sending food parcels to Taiwan? I am missing some hometown food and spices so am thinking of getting family to send over the pre-pack sauces.
if it’s extremely dead it’s normally OK. nothing fresh or unpacked. I have had lots of stuff sent without problem… but they do tend to open foreigner’s parcels more than locals’ mail.
spices should be fine. and if not, well, it’s not like you’ve had a kilo of coke confiscated now, is it?
Absolutely no problem. I’ve been doing it for years. I need to have my sustenance: mainly good chocolate, biscuits, and of course Marmite.
If only stout could be properly shipped. It’s a crying shame, it is.
Jason’s has Marmite at around 180$.

So did your senders state the content when sending? I am just thinking whether to declare the content as food stuff or try to sneak it through by stating it as some less conspicuous stuff.
Any spices or herbs you can think o I can probably supply you. I have a contact with a vast array of hard-to-find herbs and spices-whole nutmeg or ground, whole cloves or ground, name it and I can probably get it.
Used to be I’d wanted to import hamburger helper, Carrefour made that pointless a year ago when they decided to carry it…
