On September 7, Hu Jintao will visit Washington DC. I will be there to protest along with TAA, Amnesty International, and so on. We will also protest when he stays at the Waldorf Astoria.
TAA alone will bring 800 people outfitted in the fashion I have proposed. Any ideas, feelings?
But the pink motif, the homoerotic poses and usage of “Chinese missiles” really distracts the casual guy from the message.
It makes it look like savetaiwan.org is a Gay Taiwanese Independence group.
Not to slam the independence movement, but I am pointing out that the desginer made it look like Sean Su, the protest head, is part of the Gay faction of the indepedence movement just as there is a Democratic Party and a Log Cabin Republican party in the US
No offense taken. More than half the team are girls so it was made pink straight from an Ipod advertisement. I’ll just take another color from the Apple color wheel.
However what do you think of more than 800 people wearing missiles?

Make it look like missiles, not vibrators…
Find a picture of a missile, copy, enlarge, form like a cylinder, dress in black etc. etc.

The message is fine. Simplify some slogans if you want people to remember Sean Su’s group.
The pink is still very gay, not to mention how the “phallic” Chinese rockets are positioned. Use green or something that is in line with the group’s political affiliation. The iPod theme is too cliche, try something original: people get upset when cute cartoon characters and animals are threatened (pssst…it’s a hint).
Your missles are too phallic unless the girls in Sean’s group are “like that”

Thats a thought… walking around with minature vibrating Chinese Missiles emblazoned with the words “Make Love, Not War”.
But then it makes you wonder that if Missiles are so phallic, why does the Chinese military want so many?..
Here, the shaft was changed to seem less dicky. (See 1st Post)
Let’s not confuse the obvious aerodynamics neccessary to lauch a missile, with the fact that Sean’s poster has a missile placed at the groin of a person.
That is why I comment on it’s phallic characteristics.
Not to mention it is a poor T-shirt design. Those with any experience with T-shirt manufacturing know that small print is a waste.
Even if half of America wears the shirt, no one is going to read it.

LOL. AC Dropout is hallucinating again, it doesn’t say anywhere that this is a Tshirt or a Poster. :loco:
The corrugated plastic missile is so big that its viewable from a block away.
As for lesbians, don’t worry, they don’t seem to mind the missiles, I asked.
Haha yeah, we have the PRC plastic companies making the missiles en masse, and the wording printed in Taiwan. Because the missiles seem patriotic we get extra discounts.
The PRC and Hu Jintao have always been helping us unwittingly.
