Serviced apartments

I am looking for a one bedroom serviced apartment in Taipei. Any advice where to go?

I stayed at Regal on Fuxing - cheap but a bit dark and gloomy - on the plus side its next to a bar and walking distance to the MRT

Pacific Business Serviced Apartments in Guangfu Sth Rd- pricey through, but may be OK for you depending on your budget.

Chinatrust Hotel in Beitou

At least one of the 2 star hotel “fucking hotel” chains advertises that it has serviced apartments, but they are just long stay hotel rooms, there is no kitchen in the room.

There’s very little choice in Taipei for serviced apartments, in general. If you aren’t staying for months, and don’t mind eating out every night (which is very easy and cheap in Taipei) you may be better off staying in a hotel, asking for a long term rate and upgrade to a bigger bedroom- there’s plenty of decent and inexpensive hotels throughout the city.

Chinatrust Hotel in Xindian also has serviced apartments.
