No.

Death to QR Codes.

As far as I can read this, he isnā€™t asking about how to pass through customs, but about actually carrying both passports. Ie. In everyday life.

No?

To which I think if there arenā€™t any security risks or theft risks, why not carry both? If I was a US citizen I would be fine carrying my US passport in Taiwan. Maybe not in Afghanistan. Calculated risks.

Why carry?

Why not carry?

Simple questions

If it were me, in Japan, I might carry both. Why not?

I had that in December. Some guy races in front of me as no one in the citizen only queue and slams his APRC on the counter. The immigration officer looked and him and said this queue is only for citizens and you need to go to another line and also present a passport not APRC.

Guy looks at me and says come on then. I just show my passport and tell him I know what line to stand in. :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

So what passport did you show? What other passports do you have?

Enter Japan on the US passport: better treatment ( including access to an embassy.)

Not a riff on taiwan - just the reality.

Also if heā€™s coming back stateside heā€™ll need his us passport to enter

Weird question when I already wrote what queue I am in. Citizens queue only not mean anything to you? lol I often travel only carrying my ROC passport. Why would I need to carry other passports?

Yes i use this.

But apparently i am not a citizenā€¦ not rly sure what i am.

Entering and carrying are 2 different things.

The op would be wise to read these posts carefully.

Theres no reason why not just bring both passports.

Thatā€™s what I would do as well, no harm in carrying both. At least in these countries.
